After much testing Xecuter have designed and perfected the exact specifications for the their own version of the X-Clamp fix - as well as their custom made K-Pads for the memory chips as featured in the original RROD repair kit. Each screw has been designed to fit perfectly with the original RROD heatsink K-Pads.

Brilliant product and Brilliant Delivery

FIXED with no problems! Simplish install (The only thing you have to check is the amount of paste you put on and to tighten the bolts well). Been over two weeks now and its working perfectly! For rougly �20 with delivery its the obvious and safe option! I'm made up with the results, the product is well packed and professional and glad it came with some heat sinks. Gotta thank Kanection for the excellent delivery, i ordered it in the afternoon and the next morning it was at my door - Pefect, though thats what you get for �4. Only time will tell if its a permanent fix.

sceptical but I was wrong

I actually didn't believe it would work but it has. Yeah, my XBOX360 is working again. I needed about 2.5 hours. The bake step took about 15 minutes but my heat sinks don't look a bit like the ones in the photo (my XBOX was born in 2007). If you have the RROD, buy this product and try it.

What can I say. Anyone having the RROD problem, buy this without a thought.
It took me 2hrs 15 mins and my Xbox 360 works like new plus I cleaned all the dust out of my Xbox and it sound like new. 10/10, great piece of kit.

Amazing

I got this the day after I ordered it, already had my xbox apart using the tutorials. Did everything, at first i thought I was the unlucky 2% who it doesn�t work for, then I left the baking stage for longer, and alas 2 red lights, then none once restarted, SUCCESS.

I'm so happy this worked and saved me the 90 odd quid Xbox support quoted.

Xecuter Xbox 360 RROD PRO Repair Kit *NEW VERSION*

Best money I�ve spent for ages. Got onto Microsoft who wanted to charge me �80 because the console was 3 months over the 3 year warranty, so i said I�d fix it myself to which she replied that would void my warranty (doh).

Found the online guide and equipment in the kit is spot on. I�m a beginner and it took around 40mins (it did take 2hrs though to get the case off). Recommend this kit to everyone with rrod.

DJ reviewing xecuter rrod pro repair kit

Excellent service ordered at dinner time Monday and arrived 9am Tuesday. I had a few problems getting my 360 back to life - initially cured the 3 rings only to get overheating issues when on for more than 5 mins with the 2 red rings. Reapplied artic silver and fastened the bolts slightly less tight and hey presto my 360 launch system is still going strong �20 well spent.

Great product. Fixed the RROD no problem!

All you need is a pair of needle nosed pliers, Isopropyl alcohol + some patience, and a screwdriver that has the hexagon shaped hole to swap in different driver bits. Use the screwdriver, without any bits in, to remove the threaded bolts from the heatsinks.

Took me about 2-3 hours as I am very slow worker. When baking it, my lights took about 6 mins to change from 3 red to 2 red. Patience is key.

RRoD FIX

Fast delivery, missing one washer but sorted straight away, easy to fit following instructions. But still three red lights. Found that if you did the bolts finger tight, then over heated the 360, then tighten them by a quarter of a turn works perfect. Now we're back in business, just in time for Christmas.

RROD Fixed...thanks

I admit that i tried to fix my Elite using a few old screws and some old tap washers....it work but not for long.
Hence why i came to Kanection... this kit is cheap, simple and it works! Only had to wait a day for the parts...all i can say is "kant get better than kanection" cheesy but true.
One tip though...use a bit of masking tape to hold your nuts in the motherboard when turning it over!

Spot on!

Bought this product on a Thursday lunch time and it arrived at my door the very next morning! Kit does not include any instructions but there is a detailed installation guide on the Xecuter website. Took me an hour to do it, and bingo! My Xbox is alive once again!
