X2 Programmer User Instructions
- The first thing to do is physically connect your programmer to your PC.
- The USB cable provides power.
- The parallel port provides the data. You can either use the 25 pin cable we supply from http://www.kanection.co.uk/product.php/400/27/ or simply plug the programmer directly in to the printer port on your PC.
- Now run the software. The best software to use is called iXia. You can download the software from here.
- When you first run the software it will look like this:
- Now plug the chip on to the programmer.
- You will also need the switchbank to be plugged in to the chip.
- The switchbank needs to be enabled and the flash protect set to off.
- The blue LED on the chip should light and the a little picture of a chip should show in the bottom left as shown below.

- Right click in the top box and select 'Load From File' as shown below.

- Select the bios you want to use and then click on 'Write Chip'
- When the programming is complete, click on 'Verify'
- That's it. All done!
